As I’ve said before, I adored cartoons based on movies as a child – “back to the future” and “the real ghostbusters” to name a couple. here is another. “Bill And Ted’s Excellent Adventures” is an animated television series based on the 1989 film, “Bill & Ted’s Excellent Adventure,” that follows the misadventures of two time-travelling slackers as they travel into the distant past and future. After the animated series was cancelled in 1991, it was supplanted by a live action version of the same name. No DVD release of either series is planned, though the first episode of the first season of the cartoon series was released as a special feature on the “Bill And Ted’s Most Excellent Collection” box set.
