Think Pink Rocks 2010

I performed at this charity concert last year and it was a blast, not to mention a huge fundraiser for breast cancer. Come down and enjoy the show!

“I see my version of the GANT guy as the younger brother to the Michael Bastian guy. He’s a more casual, and a little more athletic, but with a modern edge that feels both approachable and sophisticated,” says Michael Bastian about his new collaboration with Gant. Here are my two favorite pieces.
The third installment in my Blackberry Torch campaign.
Ok Go’s video for “Here It Goes Again” won a Grammy Award for “Best Short-Form Music Video” in 2007 so it’s no wonder this one is so cool. Enjoy.

For those who don’t know, Richie is the man behind Butter, 1Oak, and now The Darby, and has been throwing legendary parties well before any of those places existed. HIs birthday celebration Saturday night began with a dinner at his non-open-yet supper club and continued with impromptu performances at 1Oak by Nelly and Busta. Maxwell, Robin Thicke, Russell Simmons, Andre Harrell, and Queen Latifah took part in the festivities.
The title track from Harold Melvin & The Blue Notes 1975 album “Wake Up Everybody” was the first song to ever make me cry. I can picture the cold winter day like it was yesterday, sitting on the edge of my bed at mom’s house, when I discovered the song. Teddy Pendergrass’s voice was so rich and so warm, so full of inspiration. Thirty-five years later, the message carries the same relevance as John Legend brings new life to a familiar cry…Wake Up!

There are many parties on Fashion’s NIght Out, but there is really only one party on Fashion’s Night Out. When all the other stores had closed their doors, this one was rockin’ after midnight, as Marvin Gaye would say. Thanks to Shakeshack for the BBQ outside and of course to Tory, the hostess with the mostess. May we dance all night again next year…
I was more than excited when Blackberry called to feature me in their new campaign because, after all, I actually use a blackberry and have for many years. It’s my office. The new Torch is very dope – new and improved music player and camera, touch screen with a standard keypad, and much more. We shot the ad in my living room and New York hotspot, SL. And for those who have asked, my grandmother needlepointed the DJ Cassidy pillow on my couch.
