Black Eyed Peas “Fashion Beats”
What do you get when you mix Chic’s “Forbidden Lover” and Blondie’s “Rapture” with a little black eyed peas? My favorite song off “The Beginning.” Enjoy.

Jay Kos is my favorite designer in the world. He’s also a killer chef. He makes suits for Al Gore, Puffy, and everyone in between, while cooking meals for his close circle of friends, family, and clients. His fashion inspired by food, his food inspired by fashion, this is Jay Kos, and the method behind his madness.
Fully lined and hand sewn, this is one of my favorite three Tims ever. Simply perfect. Could have used them today in New York. Placing an order now.
Get ready for Starshell, the first artist signed to Mary J. Blige’s Matriarch label. She has a seriously dope album headed our way, not to mention a little project on which I collaborated with her. Feel-good, fun, flavorful music, all of which she writes herself. Enjoy the video and stay tuned. It’s Starshell time.
French label, Hype Means Nothing, has released another of their highly popular celebrity-focussed collections of tee shirts and sweatshirts featuring stars posing in the classic Hype means Nothing pose. Grace Jones, Muhammad Ali, Andy Warhol, Pharrell Williams, Jay-Z, Kanye West, Lil Wayne, Tupac Shakur, Homer Simpson, Barack Obama, Brad Pitt, Kate Moss, Lady Gaga, and this one…my fave.
In the same way I look forward to December for red velvet, navy tartan, and blackwatch cashmere, I am you girls look forward to bags that reflect the holiday aesthetic and spirit. Here’s my fave for you this season. Lanvin’s jeweled Nyota shoulder bag. Red Rhinestones with black and red trim. Buy one, put that new Mariah on, get dressed, and let’s go out, I’ll match.
You’ve checked your coat, now it’s time to get crazy. O’Neal McKnight is back with this electric r&b dance-floor banger, produced by Junior Sanchez and Michael Moog. Get fly, go out, and party.

The 2010 Soul Train Awards was one of the best award shows I’ve seen in a long time. Brilliant choices, well-produced tributes, and electric performances. From Cee Lo Green incorporating The Incredible Bongo Band’s classic “Apache” into his performance of “Fuck You” to Doug E. Fresh teaching Wolf Blitzer how to do The Dougie, there are simply too many creative and fun moments to share…so I’ve chosen one. R. Kelly’s performance was a breathtaking testament as to why he is one of the greats, not just one of the greats of this generation, but one of the greats of all generations. Few artists can be so diverse in sound, yet so honest. Enjoy.
Jimmy Fallon simply does the coolest shit. Just watch this. Musically, Jimmy has single-handedly transformed late-night television. The amazing thing is, he does things like this every night. Enjoy.
